How do I register for Burgas Marathon?

Registration is available online only. Click here.

The online registration deadline is 11:59:59 PM on October 31, 2025. After this date, late registration will only be possible if bib numbers are still available. No registrations will be accepted on race day.

The race pack includes a bib number with a timing chip, an official event T-shirt, a unique finisher’s medal, access to aid stations, and medical support.

    Two aid stations will be positioned along the route – at the 5 km and 8 km marks – to provide runners with the support they need.

The cut-off time for the 42 km distance is 5 hours.

Participants must be at least 16 years old to take part in the marathon distance (42 km).
There are no age restrictions for the 21.098 km, 10 km, and 5 km distances.

If you wish to update the details you provided during registration, please send an email to register@burgasmarathon.bg before the registration deadline. No changes can be made after that date.

A medical certificate is not required.

  • Race packs can be collected only on the following dates and locations:

    • November 6 – from 14:00 to 18:00 at “Decathlon” Burgas

    • November 7 – from 11:00 to 19:00 at “Decathlon” Burgas

    • November 8 – from 10:00 to 19:30 at start/finish area (weather permitting)

    • November 9 – from 07:30 to 08:30 at the start/finish area

To collect another runner’s race pack, you must present their registration confirmation and a copy/photo of their ID.

The race will take place regardless of weather conditions, unless they pose a danger to the participants.

Yes, every participant will receive a medal upon finishing the race, in an area designated by the organizer.

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed on the course during the race.

If you need medical assistance, please proceed to the nearest medical station marked along the course, or ask one of our volunteers for help.

For your safety, we recommend running without music so you can stay fully aware of your surroundings on the course.

Tents for personal belongings storage will be set up near the start area, with separate sections for each race distance. This will ensure convenience and quick access for participants before and after the race.
